Who we are

  • A representative body for Primary Care Neworks (PCNs) in the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System
  • An advocate for Lincolnshire PCN issues
  • A non-statutory, informal collective
  • Independent, but grant funded by NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB)
  • An alliance in transition

What we do

  • Facilitate PCN Clinical Director (CDs) & Business Manager (BMs) joint working and mutual support
  • Represent collective PCN interests
  • Act as bridge between PCNs and ICB (e.g. LES; CSS)
  • Provide role-related support for BMs (e.g. DES; ARRS)
  • Promote population health management in Lincolnshire

But we could also...

Deliver services as a PCN collective, allowing us to:

  • Run services that we know would make more  of a difference if delivered by PCNs
  • Give PCNs a greater reach and impact
  • Help embed more services in Primary Care
  • Allow PCNs to do what we know works
  • Help improve local population health

What's next?

  • Secure support of PCNs to pursue desired approach
  • Translate this into the basis for a formal PCNA company
  • Put into action the move from informal alliance to formal business
  • Start responding to funding calls as a collective PCN legal entity
